The procedure requires multiple angle adjustments and re-clamping of workpieces, resulting in excessive arc stop points throughout the welding process. Such repetitive setup severely restricts production efficiency and creates inconsistent weld quality, which greatly lowers the final product qualification rate.
To tackle the inherent limitations of traditional segmented welding, FITco has developed a proprietary integrated one-step automatic surfacing program for 45° elbows. The process enables full-cycle automatic forming without any intermediate workpiece repositioning or manual operation.
